The Rural Micro Enterprise Promotion Programme (RuMEPP) in South Cotabato recognizes outstanding women rural micro-entrepreneurs on July 12, 2011 at the ProTech Center, Koronadal City, South Cotabato.
Seven women were given recognition in honor of their continued passion for enterprise development. The winners were judged not only in-terms of employment generation, business management and income but also in terms of their contribution to the community using micro-enterprise as a tool.
The winners were:
a. Elizabeth Rafal--Niños Food Products, Tupi (Big Sister ME) and
b. Marie de Leon--Single Parents Association, Polomolok (Emerging ME).

d. Nida Bacaling, Kenhulong Federation of Lake Sebu.
The awards were conferred by Gov. Arthur Y. Pingoy, RuMEPP Programme Manager Jerry T. Clavesillas, DTI Provincial Director Flora P. Gabunales.
