One important thing I learn in product promotion and marketing is the importance of updating product labels and packaging to fit current trends, market requirements and tell stories of how the product as a brand grows.
For micro-entrepreneurs, these are seldom easily realize due to the high cost of labels and packaging materials. But for Bing of BKR Food Products, changing labels to the need of time is a important as continuous research and development on product lines.
Today, I noticed three bottles of pickled papaya (atsara) in our shelves in different labels. In remember, these are different labels in 2009, 2010, and 2011.
In 2009, I met Ate Bing with an old label. In 2010, RuMEPP changed it to cater new markets. And in 2011, when BKR Foods finally went to International Food Expo.... yahooooooo... and export quality label that is..... (shown below... left to right)...
